Quel peut être le rôle de l’architecture dans un contexte où la surproduction bâtie est remise en question ?
Le projet Occuper pour révéler propose d’activer l’existant plutôt que de construire, en réinvestissant temporairement des espaces sous-utilisés. Il s’inscrit dans une réflexion sur le réemploi, l’éphémère et les usages culturels comme leviers de transformation urbaine.
Initialement pensé comme un événement itinérant à travers les interstices du Grand Paris, le projet prend corps dans des anciens bureaux de la RATP à Val de Fontenay, en collaboration avec la SPL Marne aux Bois.
À travers la fête, la scénographie et l’occupation temporaire, ce PFE explore la capacité de l’architecture à créer du lien, à révéler des lieux en sommeil et à en activer le potentiel émotionnel, spatial et politique. Conçu comme un laboratoire d’expérimentation culturelle et spatiale, ce projet affirme une posture architecturale engagée : celle d’un architecte attentif aux marges de la ville, explorant des formes d’action légères, collectives et transformatrices.
What role can architecture play in a context where the overproduction of buildings is being called into question?
The Occupy to Maintain project proposes to activate what already exists rather than building on it, by temporarily reinvesting underused spaces. It is part of a reflection on reuse, the ephemeral and cultural uses as levers for urban transformation.
Initially conceived as a travelling event through the interstices of Greater Paris, the project is taking shape in former RATP offices in Val de Fontenay, in collaboration with SPL Marne aux Bois.
Through festivities, scenography and temporary occupation, this PFE explores the capacity of architecture to create links, to reveal dormant places and to activate their emotional, spatial and political potential.
Conceived as a laboratory for cultural and spatial experimentation, this project affirms a committed architectural stance: that of an architect attentive to the margins of the city, exploring light, collective and transformative forms of action.
