Les programmes intensifs hybrides

Depuis 2025, l’École d’architecture Paris-Malaquais – PSL participe à 4 BIP (Blended Intensive Programme en anglais). Ces programmes intensifs hybrides financé par le programme Erasmus+, permettent avec au moins deux autres établissements partenaires de proposer un enseignement qui combine une mobilité courte d’études associée à un apprentissage à distance.

Blended intensive programs

Since 2025, the Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture – PSL has been participating in four BIPs (Blended Intensive Programmes). These intensive hybrid programmes, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, enable the school, in collaboration with at least two other partner institutions, to offer a course combining a short study mobility with a virtual component.

Dans le cadre d’un partenariat entre trois écoles d’architecture européennes — l’École d’architecture Paris-Malaquais – PSL, la Vilniaus dailès akademija (Vilnius Academy of Arts) et la University of Zagreb, Faculty of Architecture — ce programme s’intéresse au patrimoine périphérique des territoires côtiers européens. Trois workshops, organisés dans les pays des écoles participantes, offrent aux étudiants l’occasion de concevoir des scénarios de transformation spéculatifs.

As part of a partnership between three European schools of architecture—the École d’Architecture Paris-Malaquais – PSL, the Vilnius Academy of Arts (Vilniaus dailės akademija), and the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Architecture—this program explores the peripheral heritage of European coastal territories. Three workshops, held in the countries of the participating schools, give students the opportunity to design speculative transformation scenarios.

Dans le cadre d’un partenariat avec le département d’architecture de l’Iceland University of the Arts et de l’Université du Luxembourg, les étudiants des trois institutions (niveau master) et leurs enseignants sont partis, en octobre 2025, à la découverte de l’Islande pour imaginer ce que pourrait être une cité productive nordique, liée à la terre, à la mer et aux forces profondes du sol. Ils ont élaboré des propositions architecturales localisées à Hveragerði, ville-jardin bâtie sur un terrain géothermique qui façonne l’espace urbain. Sur les cinq prochaines années, ce projet se déploiera sur quatre autres sites afin d’élaborer des architectures vivables et équitables.

As part of a partnership with the Department of Architecture at the Iceland University of the Arts and the University of Luxembourg, students from the three institutions (at the master’s level) and their faculty traveled to Iceland in October 2025. Their mission was to envision what a productive Nordic city—connected to the land, the sea, and the deep forces of the earth—could look like. They developed architectural proposals for Hveragerði, a garden city built on geothermal terrain that shapes its urban space. Over the next five years, this project will expand to four additional sites to design livable and equitable architectures.

Ce projet vise à développer un partenariat de long terme entre trois établissements européens, en s’appuyant sur le parcours de l’EuroVélo 6 — itinéraire cyclable de 4 700 km reliant l’Atlantique à la mer Noire en longeant la Loire, le Rhin et le Danube. Cette route traverse une dizaine de pays, dont la France, l’Autriche et la Roumanie, à proximité des sites accueillant trois sessions BIP sur trois ans : Juin 2026 en France, Juin 2027 en Autriche et Juin 2028 en Roumanie.

This project aims to develop a long-term partnership between three European institutions, leveraging the EuroVelo 6 route—a 4,700 km cycling path connecting the Atlantic to the Black Sea via the Loire, Rhine, and Danube rivers. This route passes through ten countries, including France, Austria, and Romania, near the sites hosting three Blended Intensive Program (BIP) sessions over three years: June 2026 in France, June 2027 in Austria, and June 2028 in Romania.

Initié en 2022 par Dimitra Kanellopoulou dans le cadre du studio de projet P8, ce partenariat réunit les écoles d’architecture de trois pays européens — en France, les ENSA de Nantes et Paris-Malaquais-PSL, en Lituanie Vilnius Academy of Arts (Vilniaus dailės akademija) et la Technical University of Crete, Grèce — autour du thème des infrastructures et des architectures touristiques au sein du bassin méditerranéen. Le programme interroge l’architecture abandonnée, en décomposition ou en ruine, à travers une approche qui intègre des enjeux contemporains tels que la réutilisation des matériaux et la reprogrammation des bâtiments. Ce partenariat est porté par l‘école d’architecture de Nantes. En 2027, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Architecture (Croatie) rejoint le partenariat.

Initiated in 2022 by Dimitra Kanellopoulou in the framework of Studio Project P8, this partnership brings together architecture schools from three European countries—France, Nantes School of Architecture and Paris School of Architecture Paris-Malaquais, Lithuania,Vilnius Academy of Arts (Vilniaus dailės akademija) and Technical University of Crete, Greece—around the theme of tourist infrastructures and architectures in the Mediterranean basin. The program explores abandoned, decaying, or ruined architecture through an approach that incorporates contemporary challenges such as material reuse and building reprogramming. This project is led by Nantes School of Architecture En 2027, University of Zagreb, Faculty of Architecture (Croatie) will join the partnership.
